Praesidium Academy
As an agent, we want you informed on the process that your clients will go through to sign-up to gain free access to Praesidium Academy. Signing up is easy. Your client will click through to the Academy link on the selective.com/praesidium site and then select the sign-up option for insureds.
If your clients are only interested in Academy, they will be asked to fill out a quick form. Within the form they will answer basic information about their organization like contact info, populations they serve, industries they serve and basic program types. With that information, Praesidium will fill their account with recommended courses based on the needs of their organization.
Once the form is complete, Praesidium will take 5-7 business days to create their customized account. As soon as the account is created, your client will receive an email with their login information and further resources to help them navigate the Praesidium Academy platform. If your client has multiple site locations and/or has a high number of anticipated learners, additional consultation with Praesidium may be needed. If so, Praesidium will reach out to them directly. Once the Academy account is set-up, your client will receive an email with their login information and details about how to use the system.
If your clients want to have access to both discounted background screening and Academy, they will fill out the same form noted above. Once the form is submitted, a Praesidium team member will reach out to them directly to discuss the next steps and answer any screening questions they may have. Upon receipt of a signed background screening contract, Praesidium will begin to create the integrated account within 5-7 business days. Once the account is ready to go, your client will receive an email with the login details.
Your Academy Account Access
As a Selective Agent, you will have access to all available courses that your insureds have the option to receive. Once you fill out the form available from the link below, Praesidium will create your account within 5-7 business days.
Once your account is available, you will receive an email with your login details and instructions on how to access your account.

Selective Insurance has partnered with Praesidium to provide policyholders with access to Praesidium’s Risk Management Resources, including Model Policies, Screening and Selection Toolkit, and discounted Background Screening (individually and collectively, “Products”). Praesidium is not Selective’s agent. Selective does not mandate use of Praesidium’s Products and assumes no liability. Use of Praesidium’s Products is entirely at each policyholder’s discretion.
